Palais De Mahe - A CGH Earth Experience

It is overall a lovely property with very helpful staff, amazing breakfast and a very, nice feel good experience. The swimming pool is nice and the property is aesthetically done. For our 1.5 year daughter, they gave us complimentary warm milk every evening on request. By the 2nd night, we had requested for an additional cot for our older son which they promptly placed in our room and it was adorable to see the bonding of both our kids in their own respective cots. It was really interesting to see so many locals and tourists getting their pictures taken of the hotel's premises outside that it made us feel like celebrities too. The "walking beach" is barely 50-100m away and the proximity to the cafes around us was really worth our stay at Palais de Mahe. Special kudos to the manager for recommending us about the sailing which was one of the highlights of our trip.

I stayed at this hotel with my 7-year-old daughter and we truly enjoyed the warm hospitality. It felt like a home away from home — very comfortable and welcoming. The hotel has a child-friendly atmosphere, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The chefs here are highly trained and experienced — the food was simply excellent. The location is another big plus, right in the posh heritage French Quarter (White Town), which added charm to our vacation. We really had a great time here in Pondicherry and would definitely love to return.

The property is extremely well maintained and has an excellent staff that attends to each and every guess with attention to detail. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable in a place that was new to us . Impeccable service . The morning breakfast has an amazing spread for all kinds of palates .

Absolutely incredible! Right from the help provided by Jyotsna and Adrien to arrange the activities and transport to the delicious breakfast and the fantastic spa, it truly exceeded our expectations. The vibe is excellent for Pondy, the room was spotlessly clean and the housekeeping and maintenance were also great. I particularly enjoyed the made to order breakfast and excellent coffee!

Palais de Mahé is one of the best hotel you can asked for. YOU WILL NOT REGRET STAYING THERE. HOTEL : Eco and budget friendly , beautiful with great interior design, clean and well located. The hotel is similar as per the pictures on Booking.com. This hotel is famous as it has been displayed in movies. Lots of people always taking pictures outside the hotel. STAFFS : Special thanks to Mr Adrien, Mr Kalay , Ms Yoshita , the GM Mr Dino, the restaurant staffs . You all made our stay amazing and made us felt at home. ❤️ From day 1, all the staffs were so kind, always smiling and willing to go extra miles. ROOM : The room was spacious, clean and had all the required amneties ( TV with local and international channels ,mini bar , hair dryer, water , fruits , fan , AC , Shampoo , Moisturiser, dental kit , hot water, Iron on request etc..) BED : One of the most comfortable bed we had. We slept so well . If we had more days, we would extend our stay just to spend our day in bed . POOL : Clean, beautiful and so relaxing. FOOD : Fresh and tasty food. We still talked about that " mushroom sandwich " during our breakfast time at home. LOCATION : Lively street close to the beach, walking distance to restaurants and tourist places. You can easily find rickshaw and there is a starbucks next to the hotel . We will consider the other CGH hotels for our other vacays !!
